Sensational Scarf for the Perfect Guy
This scarf I made for my brother on his golden birthday. The design in based off of this knitted pattern but I couldn't knit it in the short time before his birthday.

A basic knowledge of the basket weave stitch is a mandatory requirement before trying this pattern…It is a popular stitch and tutorials are available all over the internet.
Hook: F Yarn: Caron Simply Soft Color: Heather
Now Onto the Scarf!
FPDC= Front post dc BPDC = Back post dc
1. Chain 29 (or any multiple of 5 and
then add 4)
2. Dc in 4th chain from
hook and in every remaining chain (there should be 27 posts including the chain
3)

Chain 3 and turn. Then Dc *bpdc 3 times and Fpdc 2 times* repeat what is
between the **’s until the chain three from the previous round remains. Do a
normal Dc into the top of the chain 3.
4. Then chain 3 and turn *bpdc 2 times fpdc 3
times * repeat what is between the **’s until the chain three from the previous
round remains. Do a normal Dc into the top of the chain 3.
Repeat steps 3 & 4 until it
reaches your desired length.
The longer the scarf gets
the more it will come together.
